First time to take fund out from broker

It is the fantastic day of Tuesday that I use short strangle strategy to kill both BIDU call and put.

During the Tuesday, I was holding both time call spread and put spread.

When I saw BIDU drop from opening to the end, I think it won't have chance climbing to 100, nor will it drop below 80. So I changed my strategy to short strangle. I kept following positions before the end of Tuesday (Oct 31,2006)

- sell 4 bidu NOV $80 Put
- sell 2 BIDU NOV $105 CALL
- sell 3 BIDU MARCH $105 CALL

BIDU AH was in 82-85 range and was in 85-86 on Wednesday, so I collected 1600 profit from shorting strangle.

In the evening, I checked the balance is USD39350, I withdrew CAD 3000 from IB depositing to CIBC/LC.

This is the first ever in 2.4 years of IB/AT trading to withdraw money. I hope my strategy work continuously.

Withdraw selling option premium to collect money monly.
